Based in the Waikato towns of Putaruru and Cambridge, TEM is a contracting company with almost 60 years of experience in the field of civil engineering. We provide a large and varied customer base that includes private and public companies, local authorities, government departments, farmers, builders and developers throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty with a diverse set of services, including:
EARTHMOVING
We carry out a wide range of earthmoving services for our customers including site clearing and levelling, foundations, rock and concrete breaking, sealing and hotmix prep, as well as general disposal services. We have expert operators for any site, material and condition.
ROADING
We have experienced grader operators and a pavement crew who can construct roads to any stage required. A typical roading crew would consist of our grader, roller, drag broom and water cart. We have trucks equipped with roller metal spreaders and covers for the transporting of hot mix.
FARM IMPROVEMENTS & MAINTENANCE
Race construction or maintenance, construction of new silage bunkers, culvert installation, drainage, tree and shelter belt removal, stump removal, contouring, building or shed sites, cleaning out calf sheds using our Bobcat, carting grass or maize silage, creating rhyolite stockpiles, sealing of tanker tracks and cleaning out of effluent ponds using our long reach excavator.
DAIRY EFFLUENT POND CONSTRUCTION
Our pond expert Bruce Taylor is certified in Pond Design and Pond Construction. We offer a free on farm consultation in regard to pond location, dimensions and construction.
CARTAGE
We have a fleet of truck and trailers, a bottom dumper and a transporter for shifting equipment. A pilot vehicle is available for over dimension loads. Trucks range in size from 30 ton down to 2 ton for domestic or confined space duties. High side bins can be fitted to our six wheelers for carting maize or grass silage.
DEMOLITION
We can demolish just about any type of building or structure. We have rock breaking attachments for our excavators as well as a concrete pulveriser.
